HTCs designers, three in particular have been arrested Justin Huang, Chien and Wu Chien-Hunng. Ever thought of the term work ethics? Apparent these men didn’t before allegedly scheming to steal company trade secrets. Their mission was to start their own mobile design company. The president of design, senior manager of design and the development director of HTC were reported to be arrested on Saturday. They were accused of downloading information on HTCs new sense 6.0 UI design and filing fraudulent commission fees of more than $334,000 to HTC.

The investigation still stands even though Huang the senior manager has been released on bail, while the other two remain in jail. Talk about betrayal, they have obviously no work ethics and to think you won’t be caught is careless. They supposedly wanted to start this new mobile company targeting the Chinese marketed “ Xiayou” This is unacceptable in any case. If you hire an employee you expect full commitment and loyalty. Not the way HTC was betrayed and almost robbed of their new Sense 6.0UI design.

This scandal resulted poorly on HTC, has their shares deflated nearly 6%. Further investigation is still being conducted by the appropriate authorities so no further comments have been released, however HTC said this will not impact the company’s operations, product portfolio plans and their overall business performance.

We will see about that HTC, without a trustworthy design team HTC might not make their new realise, you be the judge.
